I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Seven of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Seven of Swords upright often represents strategy, secrecy, or even deception, whether self-deception or hiding things from others. It's a card of caution, suggesting careful navigation through tricky situations. However, when the Seven of Swords appears reversed, this energy shifts. The reversed card often points to a time when hidden matters come to light or when a need for honesty and self-reflection becomes urgent. The reversed Seven of Swords can indicate a moment of reckoning, where things previously hidden are exposed. It's about finding clarity, facing the truth, and releasing the burden of secrecy. So what does that mean when we see the Seven of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Seven of Swords reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that honesty is needed. This card invites you to consider the value of honesty and embrace the relief from aligning your actions with your values. It may also suggest that someone in your life has been dishonest or manipulative. Still, their intentions are now coming to light. The reversed Seven of Swords encourages you to face these revelations with courage and to use this newfound clarity to make informed decisions. So, what is the best way to memorize the Seven of Swords in reverse?Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Seven of Swords moment was working a job where the company was sold. I remember that projects were being put on hold, and leadership was not committing to any longer-term requests, such as asking for funding for a course. It's hard to explain, but the work was moving in slow motion, and leaders were also leaving. At this stage of my career, these are all common signs. However, the revelation surprised me when I first experienced this. I started thinking back and putting the pieces together. I was not very courageous when the truth was revealed. I held my composure but felt sick to my stomach and blindsided. We were pulled into a boardroom and asked to leave immediately. The servers were off, and there were cheques for us on the way out. The seven of wands reversed reminds me of that sudden revelation, and all those pieces moving around leading up to it. That's all for today's episode on the Seven of Swords reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening.#sevenofswords #memorize #suitofswords #courtcards #learn #learning #Tarot #cards #riderwaite #Tarotdeck #...

I use the Rider Waite Taro, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Taro card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Five of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Five of Wands upright often represents competition, conflict, or tension. It's a card that signals situations where people's differences in opinions or priorities create friction, whether it's in relationships, work, or personal goals. However, when the Five of Wands appears reversed, it suggests a shift in this energy. It often points to a desire for peace, leading to resolved conflicts. It can also mean that a decision was made that will help to avoid unnecessary confrontation. The reversed Five of Wands may also indicate that you're ready to put the disagreement aside and choose harmony. It can also suggest that the conflict was avoided because you decided to step back from a situation rather than engage in a heated discussion. So what does that mean when we see the Five of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Five of Wands reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that a period of tension or struggle is ending. It's an invitation to find common ground, release grudges, and focus on collaboration instead of competition. It may also suggest that you're taking a passive role to avoid confrontation. The reversed Five of Wands asks you to reflect on whether avoidance is helping or if open communication would better serve the situation in the long run.So, what is the best way to memorize the Five of Swords in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Five of Swords moment consistently shows how with age, I am extending more grace to others than I used to when things go wrong. I bite my tongue and choose words more carefully. I am far from perfect, and anytime grace has been extended to me, it has been a wave of relief that I haven't spoiled something important by making a mistake or simply being misunderstood. My world has felt better when everyone lets go of petty conflict. That's all for today's episode on the Five of Swords reversed. This card reminds us that peace is often a choice and that true harmony requires external resolution and inner clarity. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. I use the Rider Waite Taro, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Taro card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Four of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Four of Swords upright is a card of rest, reflection, and healing. It suggests a time to step back, recharge, and prepare for what lies ahead. However, when this card appears reversed, it suggests that you may either have insufficient or overly prolonged rest. The reversed Four of Swords warns of burnout or your body just enforcing rest whether you like it or not. The reversed card can mean that the querent feels compelled to keep pushing forward despite exhaustion, or you may find it challenging to give yourself the rest you need.So what does that mean when we see the Four of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Four of Swords reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that you must stop overextending yourself and take the time to rest and recharge. This card encourages you to slow down and warns you to listen to your body's signals. Take a break now to avoid deeper issues later. For some people, it may indicate that you are finding it difficult to find the peace you need to rejuvenate. It could be external distractions or internal restlessness. The Four of Swords reminds you to create a sanctuary for yourself. Find the perfect space where you can fully recharge. So, what is the best way to memorize the Four of Swords? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Four of Swords moment reminds me of several times in my contracting career as a course writer and content creator when the deadlines were insufficient to complete the work. Instead of creating boundaries and negotiating what I needed, I worked through the night to meet these unfair, ridiculous deadlines. At a time in my career, I was trying to prove myself, and I didn't want to come across as incapable. Even worse, I didn't want to lose the opportunity to someone who would do what it takes. At this stage in my life, I respect my need to rest more. When I see the Four of Swords reversed, I think of that anguish of looking at my deadline, how much video editing was ahead of me, and arguing with my loved ones about how I didn't have a choice. At the time, that was how I felt. That's all for today's episode on the Four of Swords reversed. This card reminds us that rest and self-care are vital, and that taking time to recover ultimately strengthens our ability to face life's demands. And remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening.#fourofswords #memorize #suitofswords #...

It's a card that suggests careful consideration before moving forward. However, when the Two of Swords is reversed, the struggle to decide becomes even more intense. The reversed Two of Swords indicates that you may be avoiding a choice and feeling stuck. I use the Rider Waite Tarot but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Ace of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Ace of Swords upright symbolizes mental breakthroughs, clarity, and new ideas. It represents the power of truth, the cutting through of confusion, and seeing things with clear insight. However, when the Ace of Swords is reversed, that sharpness of mind is dulled. You may be confused and struggling to clarify an issue. The reversed Ace of Swords suggests that you may be experiencing mental blocks, unclear thinking, or difficulty expressing your thoughts. It's a card that points to clouded judgment or the challenge of seeing things objectively. So what does that mean when we see the Ace of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Ace of Swords reversed shows up in a reading, it's often a sign that you must focus on clearing your mind and finding mental clarity. This card encourages you to declutter your mind and focus on getting clear about what you truly want or need. Take a time out to find your focus. It may also be that miscommunication is contributing to your current challenges. If you've been experiencing misunderstandings in your relationships, work, or personal projects, the Ace of Swords reversed asks you to revisit your communication style with people and ensure that you express yourself clearly and concisely. So, how do you memorize this reversed meaning of the card? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Ace of Swords moment was during a contract about five years ago. It was a fantastic team, and I enjoyed my time there. However, it was my first time working with such a diverse team from an age perspective. Several key team members were a lot older than I was and a lot younger than I was. They played vital roles in this project. I could see myself with the young ones who were starting their career. They were fresh out of school and full of confidence. They had never seen a project fail and were not tied to doing what was tried and true on certain things. On the other extreme were the consultants who had retired from the workforce, and they were pulled back in on this project. They were highly risk-averse. Many of us were between the two extremes, and the generation gaps created more communication issues than I was used to seeing. It took some work to get this team to jel at the beginning of the project. It was time to focus on why we were all hired, and give everyone a seat at the table. We got there, but it was a rocky start. The ace of ...

I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the King of Cups, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The King of Cups upright represents emotional mastery, compassion, and the ability to navigate difficult emotions with calm and control. He leads with both heart and head, showing empathy while maintaining balance. However, when the King of Cups is reversed, you may find yourself lacking emotional control at this time. Or, you might be dealing with someone else who is emotionally manipulative or unstable. Court Cards often represent people, so these traits may belong to you or someone you know. The reversed King of Cups often points to overwhelming emotions, which can look like suppressed emotions for some people, and outbursts for others. This card urges you to examine how you handle these feelings, whether for you or someone you know.So what does that mean when we see the King of Cups reversed in a reading? When the King of Cups reversed appears in a reading, emotions are either ignored or mismanaged. It is time to work on restoring balance in your life and addressing the cause of the stress. It can also point to someone in your life who is emotionally unpredictable or manipulative. If you're dealing with such a person, the King of Cups reversed advises to set clear boundaries to protect your well-being and not getting caught up in their emotional drama. So, how do you memorize this reversed meaning of the card? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed King of Cups moment was an old friend who brought a lot of drama to my life. I had known her for most of my life, but we began hanging out when I was in my thirties. She was a lot of fun. She was charismatic, funny, and someone that people were quickly drawn to. However, she was also one of those people who drank too much, made horrible decisions, and then needed lots of time to complain and regret those actions. I am someone with a lot of earth in their chart, and I found the process exhausting, It took me about a year to back away without causing more drama. I remember her fondly for the good times, but I am happy to be off her speed dial. Remember, the key to mastering tarot is practice. As you listen to these three-minute lessons, the cards' symbolism will become more ingrained in your memory. Thank you for tuning in.
