  • Ep. 566 Jose "El Chino Ántrax" Gamboa
    Jun 17 2025

Today we're headed down to ol' Mexico to talk about Jose Gamboa, who despite not looking Chinese at all decided to go by the name El Chino Antrax. Aren't nicknames dumb? Anyways, this dude lived a hell of a life, because while he was active the coke stayed flowing and the bodies stayed dropping. Of course it couldn't stay golden forever, so you'll probably be able to guess the conclusion of his story. But you're still in for a couple surprises. Enjoy!

    Jun 10 2025

What better kind of person to talk about in this day and age than a fed that may or may or may not have been involved in some super shady shit? Now that being said, most everybody knows that part of Melvin Purvis' life, however it turns out there's a whole other side to our boy Purvis, and he was dope as hell when he wasn't busy being all feddy. But between the two sides of his life, there's something for everybody. Enjoy!

    Jun 3 2025

Today we're talking about a mustache only a mother could love, Randy Kraft. Now, old Randy here is one sick motherfucker. He was the last of the Freeway Killer(s) down here in California, and I would argue, the most brutal. So get ready for some real haunting shit and gross details. Enjoy!

Gets me through my work day. pretty well researched and they put up with me bugging them on social media about minuit points they may have missed. Hearing their labored breathing and burping is just extra
entertainment.

Great entertainment

These two sacks of human vomit are actually pretty funny, if you don't mind laughing at other people's trauma and horrible events... which is fine by me. So I threw y'all 5 bucks since you lazy bums can't upload more than 2 episodes at a time and I need entertainment at work.

PSA: Don't forget to hit pause if you're going thru a drive thru or you might get some weird looks when they hand you your food.

Hilarious if you're dead inside

Laughed so hard at the Thomas Cochrane episode that I forgot I was cooking a pork chop and it got burned worse than Joan of Arc....

Horatio Nelson would be the perfect subject for an episode. The man was so bad ass and was basically a walking meme.

You guys are awesome, and I will consider contributing to your Patreon once I financially recover from that catastrophic loss of pork chop.

Dan Carlin, but significantly less respectable.

Stumbled across this while looking for war heroes stories, liked the style and then checked the other, less wholesome, episodes; turns out this is my favorite podcast.
These two fat bastards have a great sense of humor and do a pretty respectable job when it comes to research.
Totally recommend it, just be careful on which episode you want to start with and, for the love of God, wear headphones.

As for requests, see if any of the following specimens strike your fancy: Salvatore Riina, Junio Valerio Borghese, Irene of Athens.

Amazing, especially if you're a bit twisted

If you're looking to laugh, cry, get excited, take pity, get depressed, hate yourself or others, or just need to see how lucky you really are, just look at Jacob and Tim! If you want a bad ass podcast about crazy ass people, give this a listen because you won't regret it!

Yall Have to do one on Marquis de Sade!! Probably the worst dude in history, and you two could do his story justice. Or make us all regret it.... Either way!

Keep it up!! Yall are awesome!

9 out of 10 doctors recommend this podcast!

Be careful on which episode you start with, some are wacky, some are informative, and some are down-right disgusting. But, all are entertaining.

Be careful.

In a very roundabout manner, this podcast helped get me a gf. So cheers yall! Anywho, this dynamic duo of fat and artery-clogging humor is perfectly conducive to what I wish my life was. They're hilarious and tell stories about the best and worst in history. Their latest episode over the Hollywood shootout was super well done. I've been listening on and off for years now. These guys are a great comedic pair and dread the day they become successful and can no longer continue the show. Thanks for the amazing content ya'll produce. PS- Eric, yes you. It's your brother Derik. Thanks for showing me this show years ago.

Absolutely Amazing

Always great learning about some of the most hardcore warriors to ever live or unfortunately learning about the most vile scum to ever walk the earth that somehow always live to long and rarely ever get their due but none the less if your looking for a great blend of humor and history and don't take things to seriously then this is the place for you.

PS. I'd like to Recommend Xaihou Dun

History and Comedy go Great Together

This podcast has provided me with countless laughs with friends and family. Im comfortable recommending this podcast to anyone and everyone such as classmates, little cousins, or even your boss or teacher. The hosts are incredibly professional and love interacting with their audience.

I'd love to see them cover Wayne Nance (Jacob might enjoy this) and/or Hiram Berdan (maybe this would be a better Patreon)

Fun, Family Friendly, Educational, and Inspirational

These guys are hilarious and deeply inappropriate. Fairly historically accurate but they don’t let the facts get in the way of telling a good story and getting a laugh. For God’s sake, don’t learn about Richard Chase if you ever want to sleep again. Otherwise, they’re all safe…ish.

Excellent Podcast (as long as you’ve got a twisted sense of humor)
