While away on their sabbatical, the boys invite you to listen to this episode featuring their reflections on its significance.
    _________________________________________________________________

The boys are honored to be joined by YouTuber Dark Waters. DW is known for his gift in storytelling, and he did not disappoint as he spun tales of learning spiritual warfare the hard way.

From his crash course lesson in rebuking evil spirits when he saw a shadow figure walk out of his son’s room, to resisting spells being cast on him by an old friend, DW shares stories that taught him valuable lessons.

In addition to riveting stories of the paranormal, DW shares stories of how the Lord has revealed Himself throughout DW’s life. Each story shared in this episode involves the Lord speaking into DW’s situation, and we believe that He wants to do the same in your life today.

It is our hops that these stories, while entertaining, will also help you in your journey. There is more to Jesus than any of us know.

Mike Van Buskirk shares his journey from a broken and sinful upbringing to encountering Jesus and being transformed.

Mike grew up in a spiritually dark environment filled with abuse, addiction, and violence. However, when he met Jesus at a youth camp, his life began to change. He experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit and felt a calling to go to India.

Mike's ministry in India has focused on children's ministry and training local ministers, resulting in the planting of churches and the spread of the gospel. Mike shares his journey of starting children's homes in India and the challenges faced by the children in those homes. He talks about the different backgrounds and situations the children come from, including extreme poverty, violence, and being born into brothels or as sacrifices to temples.

Mike also discusses the importance of sharing the gospel in a predominantly Hindu country and the challenges of witnessing to people who grew up in Hinduism. He emphasizes the need for the supernatural power of God in the church and the importance of being faithful in serving God wherever we are.

  • LITD Flashback - Episode 58: How Do You Pastor A Haunted Church?
    May 13 2025

While away on their sabbatical, the boys invite you to listen to this episode featuring their reflections on its significance.
    _________________________________________________________________

What do you do when you're pastoring a church and stumble upon a literal witchcraft curse bag? In this episode, we dive into the wild and often unnerving journey of Sam, a pastor who faced more than just your typical church conflicts. We're talking about demonic attacks on his family, arguments out of nowhere, and even mysterious symbols showing up on his church property. And all this while he's still ministering, helping people come to Christ, and fulfilling the Great Commission!

Sam shares with us his shocking discovery of a juju bag left on his church doorstep and the chilling experiences his family faced as they endured spiritual attacks at home. But don't worry, it’s not all doom and gloom—Sam kept pushing forward, preaching the gospel, helping people get delivered, and keeping his sense of humor intact (most of the time).

At the heart of this episode is a story of resilience. Sam’s journey reminds us that no matter how tough the battle gets, Jesus will carry you through. Whether it's spiritual warfare or just life’s toughest seasons, Sam’s unwavering faith shows that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. If you're facing your own storm, this episode is a testament that with Jesus, you can stand firm and come out stronger on the other side.

  • LITD Flashback - Episode 28: Generational Curses
    Mar 25 2025

While away on their sabbatical, the boys invite you to listen to this episode featuring their reflections on its significance.
    _________________________________________________________________

Pastor Shelly is back to sit down with the boys and discuss generational curses.

Have you ever noticed things that seem to follow your family? Certain illnesses, addictions, early deaths - honestly the list is just almost endless. Few people actually know the details of their ancestors' lives and what sins may have been committed to open the door for the enemy to torment their family line.

In this episode, Pastor Shelly McWilliams breaks down some of the basics of what generational curses are, how they are still in operation in the new covenant, and what believers need to do to apply the blood of Jesus to break these curses off of themselves and their descendants.

During their chat, Pastor Shelly walked us through the prayer path she uses with her clients for breaking generational curses. We invite all of our dear listeners to take the time to consider using this prayer to proclaim the blood of Jesus over your ancestral lines.

Sins of the Fathers & Resulting Curses Prayer

    1. I confess the sins of my ancestors, my parents, and my own sins of ______.
    2. I choose to forgive and release my ancestors, as well as all others who have influenced me, for these sins and curses, and for their consequences in my life. (Be specific about the consequences)
    3. I ask You to forgive me, Lord, for these sins; for yielding to them and to the curses. I receive Your forgiveness.
    4. On the basis of Your forgiveness, Lord, I choose to forgive myself for entering into these sins.
    5. I renounce the sins and curses of __________. I break these powers from my life and from the lives of my descendants through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross.
    6. I receive God's freedom from these sins and the resulting curses. I receive ____________. (Ask the Holy Spirit what you should receive)

    Mar 18 2025

While away on their sabbatical, the boys invite you to listen to this episode featuring their reflections on its significance.
    _________________________________________________________________

The boys are joined by Brandon Sanders, Lead Pastor & Executive Director of the Wings of Life, a faith-based addiction recovery center in Mobile, AL.

When he was a child, Brandon’s father murdered his mother. He was then placed in a “Christian” foster family where he and his sisters were abused. Brandon walked away from these traumatic events believing that God hated him, and he turned to drug addiction to cope. After 20 years of addiction, Brandon was prepared to end his life one night. After checking into a motel and getting drunk, Brandon began screaming at God and venting a lifetime worth of hurt and rage. At some point he collapsed and told God that he wanted to know Him. It was then that Brandon felt as if God wrapped him in an embrace and took Brandon in as his son.

Brandon then sought treatment for his addiction, and came to the same center that he now directs. The Lord has given Brandon a mantle for finding fatherless men, and the message that God wants to be their Father.

Along the way, Brandon shares testimonies of lives he has witnessed the Lord impact. Lives that were saved from addiction, broken belief systems, and flawed identity.
