Greetings! Welcome to the Living At Your Finest Podcast Show.

My name is Dr. Dolapo Babalola, AKA, Dr. Babs. I am a triple board-certified physician in Family, Obesity, and Lifestyle Medicine, an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine, and the owner of Living At Your Finest Wellness, a Membership-based Holistic and Integrative Direct Primary Care Practice in East Cobb Marietta, Georgia.

I provide full-spectrum primary care services to all ages and genders. My area of expertise is helping Individuals and Families Live At Their Finest Well-being using evidence-based lifestyle interventions to prevent, treat (not just manage), and, in most cases, reverse lifestyle-related chronic diseases.

I integrate tools and tips from my health journey and extensive professional training to equip my community. My guests also impact their wealth of expertise on all matters related to Holistic Health. I am honored that you are a part of our community of Health Champions.

    The Month of June honors the importance of the health and wellness of boys and men through education and awareness.

    One of the top 3 causes of reduced lifespan in men is cardiovascular disease.

    Unfortunately, I personally know friends and family members who have suddenly passed from heart attacks before 50. These were hard-working men, so please, MEN, prioritize your health and wellness if you aren't doing so already.

    Everything else can wait while you schedule and check in on your annual health screening. Some of the reasons why our men rarely visit their physicians are because of busy schedules, macho attitudes, fear of diagnosis, and being uncomfortable with the examination.

    MEN, you already do harder things, so you've got this. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
