About this listen
Today we in on a 2021 conversation with Susan McFadden Ph.D a retired Psychology professor from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she taught both graduate students and undergraduate students on adult development and led seminars on dementia. In 2012 she retired from UWO and co-founded the Fox Valley Memory Project, where she still continues to volunteer. The programs offered through the Fox Valley Memory Project aim to create “dementia-friendly communities” here in Northeast Wisconsin.
In this conversation with Susan, she will be talking about friendship within the context of dementia and dementia-friendly communities. This conversation along with audience questions was recorded in 2021 but the content is still very much important today. So without further ado, let's dive into the episode.
