    Apr 21 2025
*Ad Free Version available on Lorehammer Patreon, link below.* In this episode, we explore the mysterious and machine-obsessed religion of the Adeptus Mechanicus, delving into the history and evolution of their faith in the Machine God, the Omnissiah, and the concept of the Deus Mechanicus. From their founding on Mars to their galaxy-spanning influence, we break down their core beliefs, including the sacred Quest for Knowledge and the strict doctrines that define what is holy innovation and what is Tech-Heresy. We also examine the inner workings of their organization, their role within the Imperium, and the ancient, possibly divine entity known as the Void Dragon—rumored by some to be the true Machine God. Whether you're a forge-world fanatic or just curious about the cogwheel cult, this episode brings the divine circuitry of the Mechanicus to life. Extremely Welcoming

This is a bit like listening in on a bunch of friends talking about Warhammer with all that entails. I love the relaxed manner in which they speak, unlike some reviewers. If you truly are that sensitive, there are a bunch of other podcasts that keep well on the other side in terms of self censorship.

Give these guys a listened. They speak freely, not hatefully. That's in the eye of the overly sensitive beholders.

A great way to jump unto Warhammer

My intro to Warhammer.
👌 way to go guys.
I tried some other Warhammer podcasts, and they were all too vague and confusing. Lorehammer, however, is phenomenal.
Mark, Jordan and Eric do a great job keeping the mood light, which is perfect cause Warhammer content is DARK. 😳
Cannot wait to hear more.
Keep it up, my dudes.

0% Hate

A lot of review's talk about the hate in here but I can't find it? 13+ should be fine...

Sad its gone, but still great.

Great dumbed down explanation of Warhammers massive lore, with comedic commentary to cut the massive lore dump.

An informative podcast with pros and cons

Lorehammer is a rad podcast where you can learn so so sooo much about the deep history of the Warhammer universe from a collection of die-hard fans. They're passionate and that enthusiasm goes into the work. They can be hella funny but what really stands out in Lorehammer is the imagination and interpretation at play in every episode.

That said, the cast has a habit of being sidetracked and indulging in topics thar aren't connected to the topic of the episode. <- Honestly, this is my pet peeve.
Their sense of humor can be insensitive at times, if not crass in general. Though such humor usually has context with a subject of discussion i.e. a joke about hermaphrodites when talking Slaneesh, and such humor is never said with malice or hatred, just the product of a conversational style that doesn't filter out sometimes controversial thoughts or opinions.

Tl;dr: Lorehammer lays down srsly rad 40k knowledge if you can deal with crass humor and sidetracking.

Funny, occasional cringe

A funny podcast worth watching. They aren’t mean spirited and sometimes they say dumb shot, but anything I’ve heard has never seemed hateful. At worst I’d accuse a few instances as idiotic.

Love it, flaws included.

Overly sensitive types should avoid, but otherwise a genuinely funny and informative take on 40k lore.
