  • Special Replay: Episode 19- Murdered in North Carolina: The story of Mary Collins
    Mar 29 2023
This week is the three year anniversary of Mary's torture and murder. Her family is still fighting for justice. Please relisten to this special episode, near and dear to our hearts.

This podcast was founded on the need to bring a voice to those who are not able to speak for themselves- Stories of the voiceless is our tagline. That’s never been more true than for the vulnerable population of people with disabilities. According to disabilityjustice.org “While each situation is unique, most violent crimes occur because people with disabilities are viewed as ‘easy targets’ due to an assumption that they are less capable of defending themselves physically. People with developmental disabilities are at particular risk because their cognitive abilities and social skills may be compromised, making them more susceptible to predators.” Tonight we invite you to join one family’s quest for justice and change in the name of their loved one, brutally murdered by people pretending to care for her. This is the case of Mary Santina Collins. Listener discretion is advised.

  • 31. Coffee+Crime Crossover with Kate + Kri: The Story of Angie Dodge and Christopher Tapp
    Sep 30 2022
With the recent overturning of the Adnan Syed conviction, we're reminded now more than ever that we can't forget the victims at the heart of the matter. How can families hold out hope for justice when it seems the world is against them? Tonight's story is one of murder, yes, but at the center of our story is a mother who's will to do right in this world for her baby surpasses what many human beings think they'd be capable of.

This is the story of the murder of Angie Dodge, and the wrongful conviction of Christopher Tapp. Listener Discretion is advised.

Join me tonight for a crossover event with Kate + Kri! You can find their fun, funny lifestyle and wellness podcast Coffee with Kate and Kri wherever you listen, and on Instagram @kate.and.kri. Find more at: https://linktr.ee/KateandKri
