Guests

Alison is Media Relations Manager for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. She has 16 years' PR experience. She joined the University of Liverpool in March 2023 and before that worked in a range of organisations across Merseyside, including Tate Liverpool. With an in-house and agency background, she has worked in a variety of sectors including arts & culture, local authority, retail and charity.

Cat is Media Relations Manager for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Cat gained her PhD in the Department of Communication and Media from the University of Liverpool in 2019 and has more than a decade of experience of working in media relations across a range of sectors including politics, policing and higher education.

Sarah Boardman (she/her) is a PGR Development Network Co-Lead at University of Liverpool and a 2nd year PhD student in Infection Neuroscience.
