  • 'Miss Padma' a short story written by Munshi Premchand, depicts the turmoil surrounding a live in relationship. Munshi Premchand was born over a century ago but his writings remains contemporary. It's relevant in todays's time and age and deals with social paradigms we encounter. In a cruel twist of fate Padma discovers her partners betrayal leaving her feeling not only cheated on, but betrayed to the core . Needless to say ,it was ahead of its time. Who would have thought of such concept back then when even married couples weren't allowed to meet .So let's unravel this story navigating the complexities of Love and Betrayal .
