About this listen

Are you a baseball fan looking for a quick, easy way to catch up on all the scores and stories from the night before? To hear the craziest stat from every team? To learn which player dominated the day? To find out who tied Boots Poffenberger’s 90-year-old hit-by-pitch record? MLB.com’s Morning Lineup podcast will be coming to you five days a week – Monday through Friday – all in under 10 minutes. A rotating group of hosts will get you up to date on everything you need to know first thing in the A.M., so you can move on with your day, watch more baseball, and then (hopefully) listen to our podcast again the next morning. We can’t wait to meet you all there!© 2024 MLB Advanced Media Baseball & Softball

  • NL West is wild but Dodgers not sweating yet
    Jun 12 2025
The Dodgers aren't running away with the NL West like many of us thought they would. The Giants and Padres have made sure of that. But games like Wednesday's win in San Diego are a reminder that the defending champs are still the team to beat. Jun 11 2025
Aaron Judge hit a 469-foot HR, the 7th-longest of his career, as he predictably took another rookie deep to continue his historic season. Elsewhere in the AL East, No. 1 prospect Roman Anthony recorded his first MLB hit, bringing his family to tears. This is a new MLB podcast that is very similar format to their daily MLB Morning Lineup email newsletter; the only difference is the podcast is only on weekdays and the newsletter is daily. It is a great way to consume the information from the previous day's baseball games and Monday's covers highlights from the previous weekend. It's a rotation of hosts from the MLB writers and after the first week they have all done a phenomenal job presenting this short format update. This format is perfect to get the casual baseball fan up to speed on everything that happened without taking too much time.

Great new baseball podcast!
