About this listen
Do not fear the dark, fear what darkness brings...
Arkham Private Investigator Arthur Lester wakes up with no memory of who he is or what has happened, only a nameless, eerie voice guiding him through the darkness.
Blind, terrified, and confused, his journey will lead him towards a series of mysteries in the hopes of understanding the truth of what has transpired.
As cosmic horrors seep into the world around, Arthur must ask himself whether this entity truly seeks to help him, or are its intentions more…

I wasn't really into it at the first episode, but something peaked my interest att he end. I don't remember what it was.. but it made me want to listen to the next episode and then the next.
very intriguing series as I don't know much Lovecraft, but it obviously is inspired by. I ended up getting caught up with this as well and that bummed me out as it takes about a month per episode it seems. understandable tho when you find out the creator does most the writing (I believe) the voices and of course the great sound editing. just a lot of thought is in creation from muffled voices, to background noise to really develop the story, and I love how instead of having narration you have a character explain to the other what is being seen while telling us as the audience what's being seen also. crazy how good that works and thought out.
surprisingly great!

The shadow sodality rises, come ye' brothers of the black star!
I-ya! Shub Niggurath!
I-ya! The black goat of the woods with a thousand young.
Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again. He knows where They have trod earth's fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread.
Come my brethren, and hush now, lest we wake the blind idiot God at the throne of Chaos where the thin flutes pipe mindlessly, sign, in your own blood, the book of Azathoth and take a new secret name. Only then can your mind unfold and learn the esoteric secrets the sodality keeps.
Like furtively reading esoterica in a placid attic
