Unexpected Surprise
I’ve read/listened to so many haunted house stories and so many podcasts that it’s rare to find something that catches me off guard but Marigold sure did. Really captivating story, especially if you have even a passing interest in human psychology. The narration was great, especially for the main character (Anne). Don’t let reviews saying she’s annoying or whatever put you off, the narration style perfectly fits the character’s personality and gives you some insight into her inner workings. My only critique is that I don’t think this was originally meant to be a podcast. It seems more like a short novel that was chopped into “episodes” but that doesn’t change anything about the story or the performance. Highly recommend!

ending like this is pissing me off
why do you end at chapter 8? I was enjoying the narrative and to suddenly have it end is frustrating 😒

Meh
The girl in the story is annoying and rude. I feel like it’s missing something.

Love it
I rarely read or listen to horror but I loved this creepy atmospheric series. Saran Gran delivers another winner.

Not scary
This story was more about the mental health of a bright woman who believed her house was alive. I waited through the end of the story hoping it would get better on to be let down. Definitely would skip.
