According to reports VGK turned down a trade that would have sent Shea Theodore as the principal player in a deal for Toronto's Mitch Marner a year ago. We do not know who else was included in the deal, but VGK nixed it when the Maple Leafs wanted Theodore who scored 42 points a season ago and 57 points this past season.
