The gang is feeling a bit "off" but "peppy" as they jump into their latest episode. It seems they all have family plans for Easter - Pete and his wife will be hosting dinner, Megan and her crew will be attending Navy Baseball in Annapolis, and John will be attending Easter Sunday services with his wife and kids at the National Cathedral in DC. John and Pete discuss the many attributes of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, and John is a Peeps-hater.

The 150th Running of The Preakness Stakes is happening on May 17th at the venerable Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore. The gang talks about the racetrack, the $400 million investment to upgrade it, and a recent trip to Laurel Park.

Mark your calendars and support the Chesapeake Bay by attending Bands in the Sand on June 14th. Also, our favorite band, Mallow Hill, continues to spread their unique version of rock and blues throughout the region.

May Day is coming up in...you guessed it...May! May the first to be exact. Don't miss the International Kite Expo and Festival in Ocean City on April 25th through the 27th.

Pete gives a real estate update. John shares how impressed he was with a group of real estate agents, and could the Maryland Living Podcast have special powers?

Happy Easter to all...and thank you for listening!

In this episode, the gang celebrates Mayland's new official cocktail, disputes its history, and does some Delaware-blaming. Megan plans to search for fossils and shark's teeth at Calvert Cliffs, and Pete gets all "science-y" about Crystal Grottoes Caverns in Boonsboro. Speaking of Boonsboro, Pete shares his wife's love of author Nora Roberts, and we learn about Ms Roberts' book-themed Inn BoonsBoro. Megan seems to have a problem with borrowed items. Pete schools the gang on some hip-hop and shares that Nas will be performing his Illmatic album with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in July. Some changes are coming to Anne Arundel County public schools that should make parents happy. John does the best segue ever, and the gang talks about some local airport struggles and possible solutions. The gang wraps things up with a real estate update.
