What began as a childhood hideout—a secluded patch of woods marked by an old fallen tree—soon revealed itself to be something much more. Strange silences would descend without warning. Disembodied voices whispered from the trees. And then, the impossible happened—chopped-down trees and cleared brush inexplicably restored overnight, as if his presence had never disturbed the land at all.

    But the deeper he and his friends ventured, the stranger it became. A glowing man in white appeared only to vanish behind a single tree. A pale, ghostly boy with hollow eyes sent an unspoken warning that shook Matthew to his core. And as the years passed, the experiences only grew darker—mysterious footsteps on rooftops, music from nowhere, and a bizarre encounter with two anachronistic police officers in an untouched vintage patrol car.

    What was this place? A portal? A realm shift? A supernatural crossing point between worlds? And if so—who, or what, was watching him from the other side?
