Being Peace - Transforming Pain & Suffering

In the past week, I have spoken with, consoled, counseled, cried with, and held many of you in my heart as we experienced the overwhelming pain, violence, suffering, fear, and anxiety of the current global madness and disruption together. How do we meet this escalation and interruption of life and still maintain a sense of peaceful groundedness? How do we keep from shutting down our sense of humanity and caring? Most of all, what can we do to use the current disruption to open our hearts and heal our woundedness?

I don't profess to know the answers to these questions, but I know that healing happens when we come together in mutual, authentic, transparent exploration and common unity.
The focus of this recorded talk was on how to meet the current challenges and find ways to empower ourselves and our families as we meet the escalating separation, alienation, and divisiveness of our times.

This is not a time to "go it alone" or stuff our feelings and suppress our anger, sadness, and grief. It is a time to come together, feel, reflect, digest, and integrate our personal and collective pain. To heal, we have to feel! Suppressing our emotions and bodily responses only causes dis-ease, stress, tension, anxiety, reaction, and separation.
