Listen as we explore one of South Dakota's many dark histories being unveiled, the history behind the Hiawatha Indian Insane Asylum. Being one of the United States's only asylums of the time dedicated to the 'insane Indian', this building hosted some of the worst conditions that many Native American individuals suffered.
