• True Crime and Grief? It happens.
    Dec 18 2023

In the last episode of 2023, Danie sits down with me for a casual catch-up. We've both had some change going on in this last quarter of the year which has led to both of us slowing down in different ways.

My true crime obsession recently led me to a realization about my undealt with grief. Danie totally got me and brought up a reel that made it all make sense. The bottom line is: it's ok to stop and grieve for missed milestones in life. Give yourself time to feel, grieve & go through it. That's how we learn self-compassion and continue to grow.

In case you aren't already please check out Danie's new podcast/project The Big Love Project! (Formerly known as Off the Cuff Project) She's just rebranding and launching but already has some great content out and I can't wait to see what this year brings!

  • Balancing your Masculine and Feminine Energy
    May 29 2023

@wearemanenough posted a clip where @justinbaldoni and his father @sambaldoni were on the @tamronhallshow talking about “the definition of being a man” and how that definition has changed. When I saw that clip, it really resonated with me because the definition Justin’s dad gave is exactly what is/was expected of women in the latino culture. It’s definitely what I saw growing up. (Check out the clip here.)

In this episode, Gracie along with guest Coach Ang talk about how growing up in the latino culture can often lead to an overdeveloped masculine self. Ang gives her take on the concept of feminine and masculine energy and explains how people, especially women, in our culture can become filled with stagnant masculine energy.

That’s all changing now, but it made me realize the gravity an over developed masculine self can have on us as Latinas. Join us as we discuss our own experiences, what we try to implement as parents and professionals and the methods we use to find balance within ourselves.

  • Neurodiversity: Autism & ADHD w/Alyssa Barrera Lansford
    Apr 19 2023

#Firstgen #phdstudent & #tejana @diary_of_alyssa_bcba sits down with me to talk about #Autism #ABA and her own personal journey with #ADHD. We talk about her growing up and being labeled by teachers who didn't understand her needs and how she felt more comfortable once she was in a school with more students from our own culture and background. It's interesting as she mentions facing similar obstacles even now as she currently pursues her pHD.

  • Chisme Chat w/Nessa Connects 4/14/23
    Apr 14 2023

On this episode of Chisme Chat, we FINALLY talk about #BadBunny and his recent appearances at the #Grammys, on the cover of #TimeMagazine and of course the clout surrounding his involvement with the Jenner/Kardashians. We move on to #Selena and question how things would be different if she were still with us today. And in our attempt to actually end an episode on time, we struggle to say bye(like most #latinas 😜) and end up talking about how we prefer CBD gummies to alcohol these days. Take a listen y vamos hablar!
