  • McLaren Drama in Hungary Plus Spa Preview
    Jul 26 2024

Alex Kirry and Dan Jimenez get you ready for the final race before the Formula 1 summer break. Last week's race in Hungary gave F1 fans a McLaren 1-2 finish for the first time since 1999 and Oscar Piastri got his first GP win in F1 in his career but it didn't come without any drama. The McLaren garage had to plead with Lando Norris to give the 1st place position to Piastri after the team had swapped the drivers to avoid a potential undercut by another team. This was met with some stubborn, awkward conversations over the team radio and eventually Piastri was able to win. McLaren has a good problem which is being the fastest team on the grid but still have some kinks to work out from the team strategy standpoint. The guys talk the Red Bull drama, Mercedes new-found success and preview the Belgian GP at Spa. Take a listen!

  • Mercedes With 2nd Straight Win, Can They Keep it Up?
    Jul 16 2024

Mercedes had a little bit of luck and a massive amount of improvement over a short span that has now equaled wins in both the Austrian GP and the British Grand Prix. With Max Verstappen and Lando Norris crashing one another out of the Austrian GP, George Russell took advantage and notched Mercedes first win of the season. In an even more historic British GP, Sir Lewis Hamilton was able to outlast both Red Bull and McLaren (with a little help from some poor McLaren strategy) for his 9th win at his home GP and his first win in almost 1000 days. An emotional win for Hamilton, to be sure. Plus, what on earth is happeneing to Checo Perez? Can Lando get within striking distance of Max in the WDC race? Take a listen!!
