In episode 6, Skin, a shapeshifter implicates Sam's old friend in a pretty brutal murder. Which is fine, until the shifter goes and steals Dean's hunky flesh (definitely not fine) and plays the boys against each other. Then in episode 7, Hookman, Sam and Dean head to the local sorority house to snoop around in bedrooms and face off against the Hookman legend. And finally we have episode 8, Bugs, where the boys face off against, you guessed it, bugs, while also grappling with some serious brotherly drama.

In this episode of Monster of the Week, Jeremy, Chris, and Stephen take on three episodes from season 1: "Faith", "Route 666", and "Nightmare."

In Faith, DEAN WINCHESTER DIES! SPOILERS! Fortunately, Sam knows a guy that knows a preacher than knows some sort of entity that resurrects him. WHEW, thought the podcast was cancelled for a minute.

Then in "Route 666", a racist truck (repeat: A. Racist. Truck.) threatens the lives of Dean's ex girlfriend, as well as her family and friends. Luckily, it's 2017, and racism doesn't exist anymore. WHEW, bullet dodged, right?

Finally, in "Nightmare", we learn that maybe Sam's headaches aren't that unique, and that at least one more person has had a run in with the demon Papa John Winchester has been chasing. Also: improbable beheadings!

This week Jeremy, Chris, and Stephen take on another three episodes of Supernatural Season 01: "The Benders", "Shadow", and "Hell House" in episode six of Monster of the Week, aka "Dean Winchester Listens to Morrissey".

In "The Benders", Sam is kidnapped by a family ripped from a two-bit knock off Rob Zombie movie, and Dean is tortured by...a two-bit knock off Rob Zombie character. SIGH. All of that is ok though, because in "Shadow" we see the return of our favorite villain so far: Meg! And she brought shadow friends! And the Altar of Blood makes its second of FOURTEEN appearances on the show! Finally, we meet our top five reoccurring characters: the Ghostfacers! Unfortunately they aren't called that just yet, but still! GHOSTFACERS!
