On the morning of August 17, 2021, the emergency room at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, was bustling with the usual chaos of a busy hospital. Nurses rushed between patients, doctors consulted charts, and worried parents lingered by their children’s bedsides. Then, the doors burst open. A little boy was rushed inside—his body frail, his skin bruised, his breath shallow. He was barely clinging to life…

The Wonnangatta Valley is as beautiful as it is remote, a vast expanse of wilderness nestled deep in Victoria’s High Country. It’s the kind of place where people go to disappear—sometimes by choice, sometimes not. When experienced campers Russell Hill and Carol Clay vanished without a trace in March 2020, their disappearance left behind more questions than answers.

Great story. As a Sonoma County native and current citizen, I've always been fascinated by this case. Despite having read about these murders several times over the years, I was still drawn in to listening to the entire recounting of the tale.
My criticisms are meant with sincere kindness. I've been avidly reading the Morbidilogy blog and this is the first episode I've listened to. I am looking forward to hearing more. There are some mispronunciations, the cadence of the narrator feels off at times, and there some minor locale-based misinterpretations.
After submitting this review, I am going to listen to another episode. Thank you for making this podcast!
