More Movies Please!

By: Steven Reyes & Sean Anderson
  • Summary

  • Steven and Sean want to watch all the movies. No really, ALL the movies. We're both filmmakers (although Sean's been dabbling in other things) who love to talk about all the movies we see. Each episode, we discuss a movie we've recently watched and decide whether or not it's worth your time. Hosted by Steven Reyes and Sean Anderson.

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are mourning the loss of the best of us. We watched the 2018 film from Sam Liu and Jake Castorena, The Death of Superman.

Put on your dreariest dark clothes and cue Taps because the world just lost one of its greatest heroes. We’re sorry to inform you that… Superman is no more.

We’re all just going about our collective days, never even thinking that some grotesque monster from the stars is going to come and devastate the planet. Who could ever plan for something like that?

Join us in shedding a tear and pouring one out for ol’ Supes. He was truly a phenomenal being that we were lucky to have. And, as always, a big double middle finger to Doomsday. That asshole…

  • Justice League: Doom: Batman Doesn’t F Around
    Apr 7 2025

    Send us a text

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are teaming up to prevent an immortal madman from killing loads of innocent people. We watched the 2012 film from Lauren Montgomery, Justice League: Doom.

This film presents one of the great moral questions of our time: is Batman right to keep secret tabs on all the other superpowered heroes in the Justice League? Or is he a jackass for even trying?

No one would blame him for doing that with the scores of baddies they all face. That’s just good hero-ing. But with Superman? Wonder Woman? This is the sort of question that’s liable to keep a person up at night (and should be taught in philosophy classes).

Listen on to hear how we feel. Also there’s a lot of marveling (no pun intended) about this excellent film. Enjoy!
