  • Summary

  • This podcast is for Mamas on scholarly journeys who want more than degrees, titles, and accolades out of life because we're more than our degrees... we are purposeful Scholarly Mamas®!

This podcast aims to help Mamas like you, to achieve your academic goals without sacrificing what matters!

As a Mama of three boys, juggling scholarly life (i.e. grad school, PhD & post-PhD life) with marriage and motherhood for many years, host Dr Michelle Gibbs - your Scholarly Mama® coach - fully understands how challenging this journey can be.

But as driven and ambitious as we may think we are, we know full well that academic life doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s a difficult, complex journey full of ‘ups, downs and all arounds’ in which we can easily lose ourselves under the pressure of it all.

So on this podcast, Dr Michelle shares valuable tips and insights to help you finish well because she believes it’s time we replaced the guilt and burden of overwork, overachievement, and perfectionism with joy, grace and purpose!

If you are a Mama on an academic journey who is wearing many hats and trying to blend your marriage, family, career, and scholarly worlds, then this space is for you!

If you're starting to feel like a 'Jill of all trades but a master of none' as you juggle your personal and family life with work and academic life... then this is your spot!

Michelle is on a mission to help Mamas on scholarly journeys, like you, reach your life and academic goals without sacrificing what matters, by turning your juggle-struggle into purposeful journeys of becoming, reclaiming your scholarly joy and creating purposeful success!
