Marvis F. Cox Sr. was born in Chicago, Illinois in the winter of 1981. He entered into the United States Army Infantry. E5 Sergeant was his final rank. He entered the Army in 2001 and was sent to Iraq to serve in the war of OperationIraqi Freedom (9/11). Marvis is a Life Coach for urban and troubled youth and is also a Motivational Speaker.
I stayed in that one spot for at least an hour, thinking, I just died and came back to life, wow! My eyes were bloodshot red, and I had a headache out of this world. I could feel the water inside my brain when I shook my head. If it wasn't water inside my brain, it sure felt like it. Grandma always gave it real when it came to life. She always said you make your bed, you lay in it. This took some time before I understood what that meant but Lord Behold... that would change!
