NBA Foundation's 4th Anniversary

By: Jason Jackson Lauren Sills amin elhassan
  • Summary

  • Jason and Amin discuss the unveiling of the new Jackie Robinson statue in Wichita Kansas, which replaces the one that was stolen last year. Fortunately, despite the death of the original artist, the mold was still accessible, and MLB paid to have the new statue built. The guys also chatted about the person sentenced to 15 years in jail for theft. The theft, captured on video, shows others were involved but only one was sentenced. This was a crime that was meant to be a hate crime. The programme wraps with Harrison Butker's new deal with the Chiefs making him the highest-paid kicker. Butker getting a raise was met with pushback from folks, which brought pushback from Butker's supporters.
