Navigating the Tides of Grief: My Personal Journey

  • Summary

  • Have you ever felt like the weight of the world was crushing you, leaving you alone in your grief? Welcome to "Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom Podcast." I’m your host, Susan Grau. In this episode, I’m inviting you into the most personal and poignant chapters of my life. My journey through loss and grief has been profound, and I want to share it with you. Growing up, I faced numerous traumas that shaped my path. But the most heart-wrenching moments came later when I lost my brothers to suicide. It’s a pain that’s indescribable. My mother’s attempted suicide and eventual passing days later added another layer of sorrow, deepening my grief beyond comprehension. Grieving is a complex and deeply personal experience, especially when it comes to suicide. The emotional challenges can feel insurmountable. I’ve been through it, and I’ve felt that profound, soul-crushing loss. Yet, through this journey, I’ve discovered invaluable lessons on coping and healing. I want to share these insights with you because self-care and seeking support are essential. I’m also thrilled to share a sneak peek into my new book, dedicated to empaths. I believe it will be a transformative resource, offering guidance and support. Through my experiences, I’ve come to realize that those we’ve lost are never truly gone. They remain with us in spirit, offering comfort and strength. As we wrap up, I want to leave you with a message of hope. No matter how dark and difficult the times may be, we possess an incredible capacity for resilience. We can endure the hardest moments and emerge stronger. Thank you for tuning in. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Take care of you, and keep moving forward.
