We're so proud to announce that we've been podcasting for over a year now and have had some great conversations and interviews with amazing guests and authors. Over the course of the year, we've hit some bumps in the road. We've undergone a name change, started a YouTube channel, and most recently hit a stumble when podcast member Dan Hannah moved out of state. Over the last year we've learned that podcasting is not only fun, rewarding, and ever-changing, but also a worthwhile endeavor. I'm happy to announce that we're now back with a new look, a new logo, and a new podcast member, Geno Chandler! In this episode, Matt and Darci welcome Geno into the fold and delight him with a conversation revolving around generational differences and the origins of Jell-O. ABOUT CHARLES FISCHER

Charles Fischer teaches humanities at Everett Community College in Washington, focusing on classic literature including Homer, Sophocles and Shakespeare. With a background in ancient Greek, a Ph.D. in English combined with a Master of Theological Studies degree from the Harvard Divinity School, Charles is uniquely positioned to draw on the events of ancient history as the basis of fiction. He lives in Seattle with his wife, the author Lisa Wogan.

The Eunuch is a twisted tale of personal love, moral depravity, imperial overreach, and societal decline.  The scope is staggering, the setting exotic, the characters original—and the narrator’s voice is not only compelling but also frequently hilarious.
