Neil established a photographic studio in Hong Kong working on more than 200 international advertising campaigns, including Toyota in USA, Kodak in New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore, Japan Airlines in Taiwan, Editorial work for Geo, Time, Newsweek, Fortune and The Sunday Times magazine. Book projects have included ‘A Day in the Life of Thailand,’ ‘Here Be Dragons,’ ‘Planet Vegas’ and ‘Hong Kong Return to the Heart of the Dragon.’ Running parallel with his photographic business Neil established a photo library in Hong Kong with offices in Singapore and Thailand. Neil subsequently took on the role of Getty Images creative director Asia/Pacific. After documenting the 1997 Hong Kong Handover Celebrations as the official photographer Neil relocated to New Zealand publishing ‘New Zealand the Millennium’ a photographic book involving more than seventy local and international photographers Sir Edmund Hillary penning the introduction. Continuing his photographic practise Neil focused on the South Pacific region the resulting imagery appearing in publications worldwide. Neil relocated to England in 2007 where he has worked on commercial projects in the Middle East and Europe involving location and studio work and numerous time lapse projects. He recently established www.imagework.tv organising workshops for the photographic and film industry.
