In this dystopian cyberpunk noir, Detective Lumpkin - more machine than man after a crippling injury - descends into the neon underbelly of New San Francisco to hunt a sadistic "ripper" carving black market augmentations from amp jobs. Following leads through underground clubs and seedy contacts, Lumpkin unravels a terrifying harvesting operation catering to wealthy clients.

To stop the gruesome killings, he'll have to navigate corporate conspiracies and fight his own inner demons. But the closer he gets to the vicious killer's identity, the more danger he faces becoming the next victim.

This gritty, violent tale transplants the grimy pulp thrills of sci-fi's past into a high-tech future city. Lumpkin must cling to his humanity and sense of justice as he plunges deeper into a criminal network more twisted than he ever imagined.
