    Welcome to New England Legends From the Vault – FtV Episode 78 – Jeff Belanger and Ray Auger are caught in a brutal winter storm by Sebago Lake in Standish, Maine, where they explore the tragic story or Mr. and Mrs. Tarbox, who lost their lives in a March 1819 blizzard. Their frozen demise inspired local poet Thomas Shaw to chronicle the event in a “mournful song” of a poem. The event still haunts the region. This episode first aired January 27, 2022

  • Stalking Monsters in Rocky Hill

    In Episode 363 Jeff Belanger and Ray Auger explore Rocky Hill, Connecticut, searching for a 200 million-year-old monster called Dilophosaurus. This monster left its mark—or rather—thousands of marks on this piece of land. Today, Dinosaur State Park offers two miles of hiking trails and a giant geodesic dome that covers one of the archeological finds of the century.
