A discussion began between Siddi Johar and Gangadhar Pant. According to Siddi, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj decided to meet him. As per the plan, Shivaji Maharaj instructed that two palanquins should be prepared for the visit, and he appointed Shiva Kashid to impersonate him and meet Siddi. Shiva Kashid agreed to sacrifice his life to help rescue Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The king allowed Shiva Kashid to wear his clothes, and Shiva Kashid looked just like the king.

Even with the onset of monsoon, Siddi Johar's siege of Panhala did not loosen. As soon as he heard that Netaji Palkar, Siddi Hilal and Wahwah Hilal were coming to Panhala, Siddi sent his force. Siddi Johar's siege of Panhala did not weaken. He sent his army to meet the British at Rajapur and requested cannons. The British agreed to help Siddi Johar and left for Panhala with the cannons. He betrayed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by aiding Siddi Johar.

Senapati Netaji Palkar attacked Shahapur when he came to know that Panhala had been besieged. Ali Adil Shah panicked and thought that Siddi Johar would be called from Panhala but this attempt failed and he sent Khawas Khan to attack him with an army. Jijabai was very worried, she decided to gather the army and go to Panhala herself. Netaji Palkar reached Raigad with Sardar Siddi Hilal and took an oath to rescue Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Adilshahi sent a chieftain named Siddi Johar to confront Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Siddi Johar arrived with a large army to lay siege to Panhala Fort. In response, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj made strict arrangements for the defense of Panhala Fort. Siddi Johar besieged Panhala Fort from all sides.

Adil Shahi was scared because Fazal Khan and Rustam Zaman were planning a second attack. Upon receiving this news, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj confronted Fazal Khan and Rustam Zaman in separate groups. Meanwhile, the Adilshahi army was attacked by the Maharaja's forces near Kolhapur.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj reached to the Pratapgad fort and celebrated victory. Khan's head was shown to Jijabai. The king told to bury Sayyad Banda’s & Khan's body at Bijapur. Mawlas attack Khan's army at Wai, Saswad, Supe, Shirwal. The territory occupied by the Khan came back to Swarajya.
