  • Jei Ikhinmwin - Work Hard and Everything Will Take Care of Itself
    Jul 27 2022

Rewind 20 years and meet Jei Ikhinmwin; a kid with unknown advantages – Mr Biddle (listen to find out), a mother who relentlessly instilled excellence and a father who tirelessly reinforced that it all depended on one thing: hard work.

Most teenagers have BIG dreams but absolutely no idea what it takes to achieve them (nor the tenacity to stay on track!), but Jei was different.

His father’s mantra was on repeat “Work hard and you’ll get everything you want. Work hard and everything will take care of itself”, while his mother’s presence ensured standards never dropped.

Propelled by his biggest fear, Jei achieved what he set out to do, turning into a pro basketball player.  Fast forward to today and Jei has grown into an unstoppable force, branching into new territories, and succeeding there too.

Jei talks with host Swarzy Macaly about quitting, priorities, whether shortcuts are ever an option and what to do about doubters and obstacles.

  • Sophie Luff - Dare to Try
    Jul 13 2022

In an exclusive interview, Trade Nation Ambassador, Sophie Luff shares why we should all dare to try and not let fear hold us back.

Sophie explains that Cricket taught her resilience and how to ‘ride the wave’ of ups and downs that success inevitably brings - despite the pervasive myth that it is just a continuous, upward curve.

Instead of appreciating how much she has achieved, Sophie confides that like many of us, contentment can be a struggle; being driven and goal-oriented naturally brings with it a desire to continuously improve and look ahead to the next challenge.

Sophie discusses what it means to be disciplined, why you shouldn’t expect to feel good every day and how baking is her salvation.

  • Stuart Lane -Trade Nation CEO
    Jun 29 2022

A story we love to love: the tale of a maverick who chose a slightly unconventional path…yet became wildly successful.

Meet Stuart Lane, a man who knows that success doesn’t come easy, that all that glitters isn’t gold and for whom building a legacy is his driving ambition.  Meet the CEO of our company, Trade Nation.

Stuart lived through the Wolf of Wall Street trading days, where business was conducted by phone and adapted through the monumental force of the tech boom, totally transforming the sector. After 34 years in the business, he wanted to offer customers a different trading experience to the existing options in the market.

The trading sector has never been just ‘a job’, Stuart gains great satisfaction from the never-ending research and curiosity the financial markets offer traders.  There’s always something that will affect a particular market somewhere in the world; essentially a sector where you will never be done learning, keeping it interesting and exciting!

Stuart offers insight into what defines a good trader, how to better manage your risk, what lessons you should learn in life and his biggest fear.

One word of warning though – we cannot recommend his choice in trashy TV.
