The New York Mets were able to break out the brooms and finish off a four game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals, defeating them 7-4.

It was another great start from Clay Holmes, delivering six solid innings. Francisco Lindor lead the game off for the Mets with a HR. But it was Brandon Nimmo who came through with the game-deciding hit in the 7th. Juan Soto broke the game open with a 2-run double in the 8th and the Mets bullpen, that was down a few guys today, was able to shut the door.
