    Today I’m talking with Damon Adeang from Nauru. Damon is working for the Ministry of Finance of his country and is now detached to the permanent mission of Nauru at the United Nations. Carried by a strong sense of humility, Damon is navigating through life helping others along the way and trying at every step to have an impact however the position. A natural sense of leadership that brings him interesting perspectives on the future of the Pacific Region.

    Today I’m talking with Melissa Akko from Tuvalu. Melissa is a lawyer at the office of the Attorney general in the government of Tuvalu. Having found her confidence and her voice during her time in the Pacific Islands Leadership Program, Melissa is building her way to be an advocate for her people and to help her people be able to face the existential challenge of climate change that is impacting our Pacific communities and livelihoods.

After years leading successfully a conservation project in his island, I talked to Henry when he was about to graduate from his Masters. Henry tells us about the importance of stepping up when you realize that things need to be changed.
