Ever since Claire inherited a house from a biological family she never knew, things have begun to change. It isn’t just that the house is full of cryptic notebooks, ominous scribblings on the wall, and a creepy basement. Claire is… off. She’s sleepwalking, saying weird things, and becoming irritable and secretive. And as she gets closer to the secret at the heart of the old house in the Toronto neighborhood of Parkdale, she begins to lose herself in it. After Claire goes missing, her best friends begin sifting through the recordings of their unedited podcast attempt, Yes! In My Backyard, to see if there’s any clues as to what happened. But what they find is something better left untouched. Parkdale Haunt is about friendship and identity, trauma, cults, demons, and, most frighteningly, the Toronto real estate market. lmao to the snowflake qanon review

This is an incredible creepy horror story and it’s not even remotely political 😂 the guy who refused to listen because of a character having anxiety and saying they believe in vaccines for two seconds of the show is clearly way too sensitive and easily offended 😝
The story genuinely is creepy and the actors do a good job. Definitely a fun listen for horror fans.

Great performance and a fun romp

To start, I absolutely love the direction of the performances. It’s the perfect length with fun holiday breaks interspersed.
The one down side toward the end I did have to re-listen to a few parts for clarity on what just happened.
All in all a good time that leads to additional shows/performances worth a listen.

So good!

Great storytelling. Really good story. Easy listen. I was invested and bunged all the episodes over like four days. Really hope there’s a season 3!

Listen

This is a fun/creepy listen. Though it's kept me up too late so I can fit in "just one more episode"
Easy to follow

Excellent Hidden Gem

This is an excellent mysterious horror story that unfolds a little at a time and becomes progressively dark. It has excellent pacing and performance. If you like your horror to be creepy with suspense then I recommend this podcast. It’s hard to say more without giving possible spoiler details.
