“I love the mix of the Supernatural & Ice& Endless Night”

The “True Detective, Night Country” Podcast was the first ‘Companion Podcast’ I've ever listened to.

I was not disappointed.

At all.

I loved hearing from the author,
and the experts who made the story feel true,
and the landscape feel real.

The thing that fascinated me the most,

while watching the 1st Ep of the series,
were the supernatural elements.

I loved the beginning… the elk running off the cliff.

But I love the woman- who does not question her communication with the dead,
as she’s eventually led to the missing scientists,
even more.
Because they made that feel entirely real...

I hope we get to hear more about that in upcoming podcasts.
I look forward to all of them. CRD

So Many Dots to Connect ….

… and that’s what makes the show so interesting, besides the ultra unusual place and circumstances of the story. And my own relating to living in a remote and oh so cold existence one winter. Great mystery unfolding here. Terrific characters. I’m all in now, Can’t wait to see episode 3, now that Danvers and Navarro are partnering up (hopefully …. ….. And we’ll find out soon what the previous rift between them was), and we’ve learned that they’re about to be searching for Clarke.

I really enjoyed the podcasts so far. The various story backgrounds provided in them add really great texture to what we’ve seen so far in the characters and in the remote Alaskan location’s backdrop. Can’t wait to start seeing the story dots connect more and more, as Danvers and Navarro solve the case and get at the “darknesses” inside each of them. Well done!!
