• Don't Give Up
    May 14 2025

    Big Idea:
I continue to do good when I remember the reasons not to give up.

This Sunday, we opened Galatians 6:9–10 and talked honestly about how exhausting it can be to keep doing the right thing. Whether you’re parenting, serving, grieving, or just holding on—God sees it.

    We were reminded:
    • There’s a reason to keep going (v.9)
    • There’s a promise in the process (v.9)
    • And there’s opportunity all around us (v.10)

So don’t quit. God’s not finished.

  • I Need Wisdom
    May 14 2025

Big Idea: Asking for God’s wisdom is essential for how I live my life.

This Sunday, we studied James 1:5–8 and learned that God gives wisdom—willingly, generously, and without reproach—to those who ask in faith. In a world full of uncertainty, we’re reminded that we don’t have to figure it out on our own. God is ready to guide us if we’ll simply ask and trust Him.

If you’re navigating decisions, challenges, or just trying to live with clarity—this message is for you.

  • Boast In The Lord
    May 14 2025

    Big Idea:
Reflecting on God’s work in my life reminds me to boast in Him alone.

This Sunday, we walked through 1 Corinthians 1:26–31, where Paul reminds us that not many were wise, powerful, or of noble birth — yet God chose what is foolish and weak to shame the strong.
We saw that our salvation, our story, and even our growth are not reasons to boast in ourselves but reasons to boast in Christ alone.
God’s plan highlights His power, not ours. Our past is redeemed, our lives are changed, and all the glory belongs to Him.

  • The Hope Of Easter
    May 14 2025

Big Idea: Christ’s resurrection provides the only hope for me to be saved.

This Easter Sunday, we looked at Romans 10:1–10, where Paul expresses his deep desire for Israel to be saved and explains how salvation is available to all who believe. We saw that righteousness comes not through the law, but through faith in Christ.

Paul emphasizes that if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved (v. 9). This is the heart of the gospel—salvation by grace through faith, not by works.

This passage reminds us that the hope of Easter is not in our performance, but in the power of Christ’s resurrection.

  • Gospel Truths
    Apr 8 2025

Big Idea: A clear understanding of the gospel protects me from embracing worldly wisdom.

This Sunday, we continued in 1 Corinthians 1:18–25, where Paul says the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

We saw that God has made the wisdom of the world foolish (v. 20), and that in His wisdom, the world did not know Him through its own wisdom (v. 21). Instead, God chose to save through what the world considers foolish—the preaching of Christ crucified.

This passage calls us to reject the wisdom of the age and embrace the truth and power of the gospel.

  • Division In Church
    Mar 31 2025

In this message, Pastor Steve continues our series in 1 Corinthians by addressing the issue of division in the church. Paul urges believers to stay united under Christ—not divided by personalities or preferences. When we shift our focus away from Jesus, disunity takes root. This sermon challenges us to examine where our allegiance lies and calls us back to the centrality of Christ in all things.

  • Because of Christ
    Mar 24 2025

Big Idea: Remembering what Christ has done clarifies who I am because of Him.

This Sunday, we began a new series in 1 Corinthians 1:1–9, where Paul reminds the church that their identity is found not in their works, but in Christ alone. We were enriched in Him in every way—in all speech, in all knowledge, and sustained by His grace. As we look at what Christ has done, we gain clarity about who we are. Because of Christ, we are called, enriched, and sustained.

  • Come And See
    Mar 17 2025

Big Idea: Those who Christ has found intentionally invite others to believe.

This Sunday, we explored John 1:43-49, where Jesus calls His disciples and invites them to follow Him. Philip found Nathanael and said, “Come and see.” Through this passage, we are reminded that following Christ is an invitation not just for ourselves but for others as well. Who will you invite to believe?
