Amazing Classic
Patras is a renowned writer in Urdu literature . His work is full of humour and wit. I have read his "Maurhoom Ki yaad Mein" so many times and everytime i enjoy the writer's unique way of narrating the story. Although the extensive use of pure and old literary Urdu words sometime baffles the ordinary native speaker , but it is still a joy to hear. The narrator had wonderful mastery over the correct pronunciation of these words, which is an added bonus as not many can pronounce these words without a hitch. Overall great classic book by a great classic author.
