Don Mills is an entrepreneur, Substack writer, and co-author of 'Toward Prosperity: The Transformation of Atlantic Canada's Economy' with David Campbell.

Here's how Don describes his life's work.

"After selling my business in 2018 (Corporate Research Associates Inc, now Narrative Research)
on the 40th year anniversary of when I co-founded the company, I did not retire but re-purposed my life on order to continue to pursue my personal and business interests.
Not only do I continue to be actively involved in various entrepreneurial activities as a partner and Board Director with CABCO , New Scotland Brewing and Clothing and Total Marketing & Communications in Bermuda, but I am also a regular business columnist for both the SaltWire Network and Brunswick News and the only regular business columnist in all the daily newspapers across Atlantic Canada.
In May of 2021,I became a podcaster on the Insights Podcast with my co-host David Campbell, the former Chief Economist for the Province of New Brunswick. Insights provides us with a platform to advocate for economic development and better public policy. Our podcast is available on most podcast platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Finally, I continue to be actively involved in various community causes including the YMCA, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and 100 Seeds. And I have never been happier because I have five grandchildren living nearby who provide me with both inspiration and love."

David is currently President of Jupia Consultants Inc. He was formerly Chief Economist with the New Brunswick Jobs Board Secretariat. In that role, he was tasked with helping to develop economic policy and economic development strategy for the Government of New Brunswick. He has more than 25 years’ experience in economic development-related roles working with industry, not-for-profit organizations and governments across Canada. He has strengths in economic impact analysis, return on taxpayer investment (ROTI) analysis, sector development and investment attraction.
