Plushienatural: A Supernatural Podcast celebrates the soft and cuddly side of Supernatural fandom. Hosted by Amanda Lynn, aka "The Human," and plushie bear Dean Winchestbear, this podcast aims to spread information, love, and joy about Supernatural and its fans. 

First, Dean and Amanda introduce themselves and introduce the format. Then they take a look at where it all began - season 1, episode 1, "Pilot." Dean and Amanda recap and review the pilot episode, make some suggestions of how to rewrite the "we were raised like warriors" exposition dump in Act 2, gush about the quality of the special effects, and explain how Amanda became a ride-or-die Deangirl in 2006. Lastly, they give out some episode awards for LVP (Lore Valuable Player) and Best Song of the (broadcast/DVD version of the) Episode. 

Today on Plushienatural, we’re looking at season 1, episode 2, “Wendigo.” First we talk about why Sam Needs a Gosh-Darn Hug when we discuss the episode’s (semblance of a) B Plot, and then we take a look at Not Ready For Prime Time Alden Ehrenreich and…some other people, including a hot girl with abandonment issues, in the A Plot. Marvel as Sam goes “Hot Blooded” with rage multiple times and Dean sounds nothing like he will in two seasons! Also, we get a Lore update from Sammy Winchestbear, we give out awards for LVP and Best Song, and Sammy and Dean (Wbear) tell us why Plushies Make Everything Better. 

Clips Notes (see what I did there?)

• I am now able to clip from the (US) broadcast version of the episode, so when I mention a song, you’ll actually hear it! I will still note that it’s in the DVD version rather than the streaming version when I know the streaming version has replaced music.
• In Clip 6, the siren is part of the clip, not outside your house/car.
• In Clip 7, the baby crying is part of the clip, not a real baby.
• Some of the clips are just really freaking long and I apologize for that. Most of them are actually cut down from the original versions I made.
