Being chronically ill means you have the best seat on the perpetual struggle bus. Thanks to the very sexy diagnosis of end-stage kidney disease I was always missing out: on my dream writing career, finding love (bah humbug, but one can hope…right?)…even literally missing my daily train to get to work because I’d trip and fall on my cane. Classic Jane: basketcase. But thanks to a black-market kidney donation giving me mysterious powers, the tables have turned. I love it!

The story was terrific; it was funny and enjoyable, like watching a TV series in your head. The story was delightful, reminiscent of a TV series. It is so vivid that I can visualize it when I'm cleaning or relaxing in bed.

Interesting idea, but...

The story had potential but I think it focused on the wrong things. The acting was a little all over the place - Tatiana was great but it felt as though she was carrying the whole thing while the rest of the cast weren't quite up to it. I forced myself to finish it but it was pretty meh, IMHO.
