Saw an amazing post that I also used to put together a little video presentation for some basketball coaches / teams, and the message was something that all of us can use - especially me. I found this from Coach AJ Mental Fitness (@coachajkings) who I find so many great ideas to post, podcast about, create things from, and generally find a great amount of inspiration. In this message that he posted, Coach Kara Lawson (@karalawson20) said, "Preparation doesn't guarantee a result. It just guarantees growth." She brings up four thoughts that help us even more. “Preparation matters because: • You are your habits, • It builds your foundation, • It's where growth happens, and • Details make big differences.” I love these reminders because this is for everyone that pays attention, not just if you play for Coach Lawson. I hope you find a few things from this that inspired you to reflect a bit differently in your life as it has helped me to keep looking to get better in my life.
