 Pete is a courageous pop with a big, warm heart who lives at the South Pole in Antarctica with his parents and siblings, the Cold Family. If Pete gets nervous or stressed, he risks melting which is a very dangerous situation for a frozen pop since he could die!

Pete wants more from his life rather than just living in a sub-zero climate where there is little activity. In fact, he dreams of surfing and spending time with friends in Southern California. But he would surely perish if he ever set foot outside of the frozen South Pole!

Pete is a smarty pants and wants to be an engineer when he grows up. What’s more, he is courageous and stops for nothing. He cannot resist pursuing his dream which means that he must constantly face and resolve moral and ethical issues that stand in his way. This is quite the challenge for a young risk taker with a good soul!
