  • Colts/Lions and IU/OSU Preview! Aaron Torres, Kyle Neddenriep, and Kevin Bowen join!
    Nov 22 2024

(00:00-20:45) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinner that Jake was a part of. Additionally, they touch on the news that broke before the start of the show that the New York Giants are releasing Daniel Jones. They wonder what his market looks like and if he’d be a realistic backup option for the Colts next season.

(20:45-26:23) – With a pair of big college football games for two Indiana colleges, Jake and Jimmy preview Notre Dame’s game this weekend against Army from Yankee Stadium. They debate whether the Fighting Irish will be out if they lose to Army tomorrow afternoon.

(26:23-42:58) – Aaron Torres from Fox Sports Radio joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to share his thoughts on the Indiana Hoosiers resume and their College Football Playoff hopes. He states that if Indiana’s resume had Michigan, USC, or any other typical football powerhouse, then people would be discussing whether that team should be the favorite for the CFP. Finally, he believes that there is going to be another conversation in the immediate future that the CFP needs to be expanded to sixteen teams if the SEC feels like it had teams snubbed from the CFP.

(42:58-1:05:50) – Jake and Jimmy kick off hour number two by discussing Sunday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Indianapolis Colts. They discuss what gives Indianapolis its best chance at defeating Detroit.

(1:05:50-1:18:28) – Kyle Neddenriep from IndyStar joins Query & Company for his weekly visit to preview the Semi-State football games tonight across the state. Kyle examines some of the games within central Indiana, highlights a couple of players that are in action tonight that could be big time contributors beyond college, and provides Eddie with some optimism that Decatur Central will be playing for the 5A State Final next week.

(1:18:28-1:23:55) – Hour two of the program concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing the parallels between Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson.

(1:23:55-1:48:17) – Kevin Bowen from the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy joins the program to try and pinpoint how the Colts defense can attempt to slow down the Lions offense. He lists Sam LaPorta, David Montgomery, and Jahmyr Gibbs as the players that could benefit from the Colts focusing on Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams and does believe that the Colts will continue to utilize Anthony Richardson as a runner early in the game to get him into rhythm as a passer later in the game.

(1:48:17-1:57:49) – As we do every Friday on Query & Company, Jake shares a feel-good story courtesy of Franciscan Health. Today’s story features someone within the community who has provided opportunities for people that are visually impaired.

(1:57:49-2:04:53) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and the guys sharing their Colts/Lions and IU/OSU predictions!
