The Tampa Bay Rays have now won 11 of their last 14 games after beating the Texas Rangers 5-4 tonight. Brandon Lowe got things started with a solo home run in the bottom of the 1st to make it 1-0. The Rays would break it open in the 3rd inning. After a Josh Lowe double, Brandon Lowe hit a rope for a double to make it 2-0. After a Yandy Diaz single, Jonathan Aranda roped a single to make it 3-0. Jake Mangum would make it 4-0 and heads up base running by Aranda made it 5-0. Shane Baz started and picked up the win for the Rays. He went 5 IP 5 H 3 ER and 5 strikeouts. Pete Fairbanks shut the door in the 9th inning to give the Rays another series win. The Rays will go for the sweep tomorrow night.
