  • The Backstory on Why We Aren’t Really Free
    Oct 23 2021

Over two and half hours of compiled material talking all about the ways we are lied to by the government and corporate state. We are told we are free which contradicts the reality most live in where they have to participate in wage slavery for the majority of the waking hours of their lives and live under a highly corrupt government with a faux democracy actually controlled, mostly out in the open, by corporations and moneyed special interests.

    Some of the topics discussed:

    - “Alternativism” - having ample distrust for government - What is a “Conspiracy Theorist” - Is competition healthy? - How we are promised freedom and given something much different - Deschooling society - A small talk by Chris Hedges (sorry) - The intentional conflating of the meaning of words to push agenda - Why so many are missing the bigger picture

    - Ways we pretend war is not a crime

  • The Media: Selling the Myths of Power (Unwelcome Guests)
    Oct 4 2021

In this episode the focus is on how the corporate media landscape works hand in hand with nation states in selling lies to the people while pretending to be a shield they instead serve as a weapon for the establishment.

Again, much thanks to Unwelcomeguests.net for permission to republish.

  • Terence McKenna: Eros and the Eschaton
    Jun 24 2021

    Some Terence-isms from this talk:

"Out of complexity emerges greater complexity"

"What's so great about media? It's the spreading of darkness at the speed of light" (technically a quote relayed in the lecture cited from a 'someone')

"The way to do psychedelics is at higher doses than people are used to"

Terence gives a 2hr lecture digressing through a range of topics related to critiquing the scientific outlook, the human species' place in time on this planet, where ideas are taking us, and of course psychedelics.

This lecture given in the early 90s from Seattle is almost as salient today as when McKenna first eloquently spoke the words.
