  • In this episode of the Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods recap the 7 games in the Big Ten conference for week eight that featured the buzzsaw that is Indiana football as the Hoosiers absolutely dismantled Nebraska 56-7. The action got started on Friday night with Oregon's trip to Purdue, shutting out the Boilermakers who scored 49 points the previous week. In the Saturday morning games we saw Indiana roll, Illinois take down Michigan in the only battle between ranked teams and UCLA getting a rare long travel victory, edging out Rutgers for the Bruins first Big Ten win. Later we saw Maryland rush the field after upsetting USC 29-28, Michigan State looking better at home against Iowa and Wisconsin bringing Northwestern back to reality. Dave went 5-2 in his picks and is back to .500 while Ryan dropped a bit going 3-4 but still 8 games above .500 overall.
