Jim Dudley and Carina Gallo discuss the International Crime Victimization Survey (ICVS) with John N. Van Kesteren at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. They explore the history behind this far-reaching program which has improved the collection and analysis of credible crime data around the world. The results of these studies are, however, often not reflected in the media and politics.

Three graduates of the San Francisco State University Criminal Justice Program speak on the challenges and strategies to deal with Covid-19 while continuing with classes. Joe Lagano, Sagrario Encarnacion Jimenez, and Donovan Castro Rosas talk about continuing with full class loads while dealing with home life, work life, and social interaction. Each student had their own strategies to deal with the evolving health situations and restrictions. The one commonality among the three was a terrific sense of resilience.
