In this episode we will be discussing relationships and how they may affect our spiritual process. We particularly touch on three types of spiritual relationships - karmic, soulmate, and twin flame relationships - and draw on our own experiences with each of these in our lives.

Karmic relationships primarily aim to teach us a lesson in our lives. If relationships can be summed up by the old adage "A reason, a season, or a lifetime", then karmic relationships are there for a reason. Karmic relationships can be with a friend, acquaintance, lover, or any other person where the bond leads to personal growth, often through a challenging dynamic, though not always negative.

Soulmate relationships teach us about self love and benefit our spiritual evolution. A soulmate is often an intimate relationship, but can also be a friend, family member, mentor, or any other non romantic positive relationship in your life that you share a strong bond with.

Twin flames are the rarest type of spiritual relationship. It is theorized that twin flames are one soul split into two separate bodies, or sometimes even more. Twin flame relationships have become a buzzy topic in the past few years and are commonly thought of as romantic, however, many twin flames choose to have a platonic relationship with their other half since this type of relationship can be very triggering and challenging for the twins. It's like dating yourself and exposing all of your shadow aspects at once. Fun!
