Remote Work & Talent Globalisation

  • Summary

  • The start of the COVID-19 pandemic had a dramatic impact on remote work. Prior to it it was the exception and during and after it became the norm. Remote work refers to a working arrangement where employees perform their job duties outside of a traditional office environment, typically from home or another location of their choice. This mode of working has gained significant popularity, not only due to the COVID-19 but particularly due to advances in technology. In 2023, we observed a shift where companies have asked employees to come back to the office a couple of days every week.. This is very often referred to as the Hybrid Model.

In general, remote work offers several benefits:

    • Flexibility
    • Increased Productivity
    • Cost Savings
    • Work-Life Balance
    • Access to a Global Talent Pool: Employers can hire the best talent regardless of geographic location.

Speaking of Talent Globalization, I am pleased to have Nicolas Goldstein on the podcast today…Nicolas is the Cofounder of Talenteum the 1st Social Bridging platform.
